Owner/Lead Inspector
After a Life Spent Traveling the World Globetrotter is Ready to Pursue Passion with New Business Launch
(Monterey, CA)—Andrew Cumpston’s background is an interesting mix – some solid experience in his field and a knack for talking and listening to people from all walks of life – and it will serve him well in his new position as one of the newest franchise owners with Pillar To Post Home Inspectors®, the No. 1 home inspection company in North America. Not only has the Seaside resident spent time working in a family construction business since he was old enough to swing a hammer, but Cumpston spent the past 15 years traveling and tending bar all over the world. So, if a prospective home buyer or seller needs a really good listener – who in turn is going to shell out some sound advice about one of the most important purchases of their life – Cumpston fits the bill perfectly. “I chose Pillar To Post Home Inspectors because I wanted the next transition in my career to be to something, I was very passionate about. I wanted to own my own business and couple it with my love for construction and passion for real estate,” said Cumpston, who will be serving clients throughout Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties beginning Aug. 1.
Cumpston traversed the world for the last 15 years, seeing as much as he could and tending bar from the Caribbean, Australia, and New Zealand to Peru, China, and across the United States. One of his favorite spots was New Orleans, where he spent a few years. In between, Cumpston honed his knowledge and skills in construction and real estate. “My father owned and operated his own construction company for almost 40 years before he retired,” Cumpston said. “I was also involved in some investment properties in Sacramento, flipping houses, and rentals.”
Pillar To Post Home Inspectors is the brand to which more than three million families have turned to for more than 25 years to be their trusted advisor when buying or selling a home. Consistently ranked for 23 years on Entrepreneur Magazine’s annualFranchise500®, Pillar To Post Home Inspectors is enjoying its eighth consecutive year as No. 1 in its category on that coveted ranking. In addition, the company has 5-Star status with VetFran, a program offered by the International Franchise Association that provides discounted franchise fees to veterans. “I was introduced to Pillar To Post Home Inspectors through previous investment properties I had purchased,” Cumpston said. “I was drawn to the company by its professionalism and great reputation.”
A professional evaluation both inside and outside the home is at the core of Pillar To Post Home Inspectors’ service. Pillar To Post Home Inspectors input data and digital photos into a computerized report. Paige Bohrer grew up with entrepreneurial parents and always knew she wanted to own her own business and be her own boss. Paige is also very driven and passionate about owning her own business and taking care of her clients. She takes the time to speak with her clients, as much time as necessary, and whenever she’s needed. She understands that her clients are making the biggest decisions of their lives. Sebastian Quinones
Home Inspector
Sebastian brings a lifetime of hands-on experience to his role as a home inspector. Growing up with a father who was a contractor meant he spent his summers on job sites instead of vacations—learning the ins and outs of construction from an early age. That early exposure sparked a passion for the trade and an eye for detail that he now puts to work helping clients better understand the homes they’re buying or selling.
Before joining Pillar To Post, Sebastian ran his own handyman business full time, even completing standout projects like a custom wall reinforcement for the Grocery Outlet in Prunedale, CA. Now, as an inspector, he finds fulfillment in looking out for others by identifying commonly overlooked issues—like dry rot and termite damage—and delivering thorough, honest reports.
When he’s not inspecting homes, you can find Sebastian fishing in Moss Landing (often from a kayak), experimenting in the kitchen with fresh mariscos like ceviche and aguachiles, or playing guitar for his church worship team. For him, music is a way to serve something greater and bring joy to his community.
Sebastian is proud to be part of a team that values quality, responsibility, and integrity—and he’s always ready to help clients make confident decisions about their homes.

Julian De La Rosa
Home Inspector
Julian De La Rosa brings a sharp eye and a problem-solving mindset to every home inspection he conducts. With a background in construction, mechanics, property management, and demolition, Julian is no stranger to the inner workings of homes—and he’s passionate about helping people make informed decisions when it comes to one of life’s biggest investments: buying a home.
Becoming a home inspector was a natural step for Julian. He was drawn to the profession by his love for detail-oriented work and the opportunity to support families during such a meaningful process. “I take pride in providing peace of mind to clients,” he says. “Knowing they can make confident decisions based on the information I provide is what drives me.”
Clients describe Julian as thorough, reliable, professional, and dedicated. He takes time to ensure each inspection is comprehensive and accurate, showing up on time and ready to give every property the focus it deserves. Whether it’s moisture issues, local wear-and-tear, or structural concerns, Julian brings knowledge, precision, and care to every report.
When he’s not inspecting homes, Julian enjoys hiking, playing instruments, and immersing himself in music—activities that keep him balanced and fuel his attention to detail. These interests, combined with his hands-on experience across multiple trades, help him stay sharp and connected to the work he loves.

Rebekkah Mitchell
Assistant
I’m a Scheduler and Marketing Assistant at Pillar to Post Home Inspectors in beautiful Monterey County, where I juggle managing appointments, keeping things organized, and helping spread the word about our awesome services. With over 10 years in retail and customer service, I’ve picked up a ton of skills in communication, problem-solving, and staying on top of everything—skills I put to good use every day in my role.
Since moving to Monterey County in 2017, I’ve fallen in love with the local vibe and the endless outdoor adventures it offers. When I’m not working, you’ll find me enjoying the sunshine with my almost 7-year-old daughter, who’s taught me how to master multitasking and patience. I’m also a yoga lover with a passion for healthy eating and living a balanced, active lifestyle.
On top of my day job, I run my own side hustle as a dog walker, trainer, and sitter. It’s how I met Paige (one of my amazing clients!) and many others who trust me to take care of their furry friends. I love building relationships with both pets and their owners and bringing joy to their lives.
When I’m not hiking through Monterey’s stunning trails, doing yoga, or chasing after my daughter, I’m always looking for new ways to grow, have fun, and make a positive impact on the people around me!

Cora
Hello, I’m Cora, and I’m excited to share a bit about myself with you! I’m currently part of the fantastic team at Pillar to Post as an marketing intern.
What really makes my day at Pillar to Post is going on broker tours. Why, you ask? Well, besides the awesome properties, there’s a little something called snacks, and the fact that everyone is super friendly. It creates such a welcoming atmosphere that makes the tours a delightful experience. I also love attending marketing events and joining inspections.
In my free time I like hanging out with my friends, and taking my dogs to the dog park. I like gymnastics, and I am always eager to perfect my flips and tumbles. Math is another love of mine; there’s something satisfying about solving complex problems. And yes, I’m passionate about going to school – learning new things every day keeps me excited and curious.
Despite my young age (yes, I’m in 3rd grade!), I’ve already embarked on an exciting journey into the world of entrepreneurship. It goes to show that you’re never too young to pursue your interests and passions. I’m thrilled to be part of the Pillar to Post team!
